Environmental Impact Studies, preliminary to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), are a decision support system to choose the realization of a specific work; their purpose is to ascertain the environmental compatibility of a project; they end with a mandatory and binding measure.
The Integrated Environmental Permit (IEP) is a measure that authorizes the operation of a plant or part of it; it imposes conditions to avoid or reduce the emissions in air, water and soil to achieve a higher environment protection level.
SARTEC, through its experience in executing studies for EIA and IEP, can offer complete studies, capability of technological problem solving, critical situation analysis, process solutions and operative management.
SARTEC offers, to its customers, the following type of services:
- Technical, normative and procedural support;
- Geographic Information Systems developed through land analysis, in particular with management of problems related to complex environmental systems, by using GIS systems and modeling;
