Test of catalysts on hydroprocessing/hydrocracking pilot plant:
- Comparative tests between catalytic systems (activity, stability, etc);
- Comparative tests between regenerated catalytic systems (activity, stability, etc);
- Performance evaluation with unknown feeds (i.e. gasoline and Vacuum Gas Oil originated from new crudes, blends with cracked products, deepening of cut points, etc);
- Evaluation of new operating conditions (hydrogen excess or deficiency; quenching strategy; a priori performance assessment in case of revamps, etc.)
New process evaluation on pilot scale; some examples:
- Olefin selective hydrogenation;
- LCN Etherification (cracking gasoline);
- HPNA (heavy polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) adsorption on solid supports;
- Gasoline polishing;
- Catalytic stripping of trace hydrocarbons from TAS water.
