At the conference, Sartec presented its contribution entitled ‘SARAS Digital Transformation – Asset Management’, delivered by Riccardo Cozza (Asset Management, Industrial Automation & Connectivity Manager), covering asset management in the context of the digital transformation process launched by the SARAS Group.
The Conference, which was attended by numerous representatives of control bodies, industry and academia, was an opportunity for covering and discussing the issues of industrial maintenance in the chemical and petrochemical industry in the age of Industry 4.0, with a focus on the need to develop maintenance programs that ensure the safety of people and plants, optimise investments and minimise environmental impacts.
Topics covered included the state of the art of technical standards, evolution of legislation in the machinery sector, progress in applied research and operational innovations.
The Conference, organized by the regional Directorate of INAIL (Italian Workers’ Compensation Authority), the University of Cagliari – Department of Mechanical, Chemical and Materials Engineering and the Association of Engineers of the Province of Cagliari, is one of the events of the 2018-19 European Campaign: Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances.
